Hi Jackie, I hope you remember me. I had a dream done by you several weeks ago. I loved it it was really interesting. I just thought that the information you shared with Christian on the dream discussion forum was so good that it needed it's own topic. I loved reading about your past life stuff. How can you tell the difference between a normal dream and a past life dream. I've had one where I was an asian woman, I think it was Thailand or somewhere. I was walking carrying the water on those bamboo pole things. Can you please tell me and others how we can tell the difference. Catrina

Past Life Dreams

Hi Catrina, sorry I've been a bit busy organising my son's 21st birthday. Okay, I guess I can only talk from my own experience and from the experience of those I've spoken to about past life dreams. I know when it comes to myself, the dream is always in full color. I am often watching the dream, but I know I am a certain person in the dream but I don't look like myself. You usually note a difference in the way the people are dressed. You get the feel for the era and you don't find yourself using a phone say, back in the 1700's. Things are historically acurate. Of course we can't always be spot on with the times when we wake, particularly if we don't know much about the era. The thing is if you do a little investigation you can get a rough idea of what era it is or country.

Another person who I have spoken to says that you can also recognise people you know today who do not look like themselves or can be a different sex to what you know them as today. We can also carry things from our past life into this one. One young man told me of a dream in which he was in a school, an all male school and the people spoke a different language that he understood in the dream. He recognised in the classroom with him was a girl he knows now, who was a boy in the dream. A teacher came in (who looked different but was a teacher he knew and had difficulties with in life today) and put up a flag. He recognised it as the swatztiker (hope thats how you spell it). He told all the boys there was going to be changes in the school and he needed every one to be supportive.

The dreamer remembers walking home from school in the dream. He said he was wearing a long pair of shorts and braces and a white long sleeved shirt. He remembers walking by some buildings and houses which had been destroyed. He was deeply concerned about the changes and didn't know what to think or do about it. When he returned to school the next day he noticed that the boy (who is now a girl) and some other classmates  were missing and it made him feel sick. He spoke up and challenged the changes. The teacher took him from the room and sent him to the principle.

The principle was very patient and kind to him and spoke of the neccessity for the changes and wanted his co-operation. He told the boy he was a natural leader and they needed his skills if things were to work out. He felt he was betraying himself but he eventually agreed to go along.

My thoughts on this dream are that this boy was a german young man who was recruited into the Hitler Youth or some such. I'm not a historian. but I get that feel from it. This young man now has very strong political beliefs about social justice and is passionate about the environment, homelessness, discrimination, racism and so on. I think he has brought this through because he feels he betrayed his own beliefs in another life.

I hope that helps you Catrina. Hope to hear from you again soon...Jackie
